Events[]

Albus Dumbledore gave a welcoming speech in which he warned everyone not to go looking for any other vault in the school, since they will now be breaking school rules.
An unknown person found and opened the Vault of Fear which unleashed a number of Boggarts which pop around the school, frightening the pupils.

Dumbledore's notable absence throughout the school year became a talking point among the pupils of the school. He eventually came back at the end of the year.

Rita Skeeter visited the school and held a contest.
Ravenclaw won the Quidditch Cup.
Slytherin won the House Cup.
